Bayramov and Saidov discussed the incident with Iranian drones in Nakhchivan

Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov and Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov discussed the attack of Iranian drones on Nakhchivan.

As reported to BAKU.WS by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, during the phone conversation Bayramov provided his colleague with detailed information about the drone incident, and the parties expressed concern over what had happened.

It was stated that this attack on the territory of Azerbaijan constitutes a gross violation of the norms and principles of international law and also contributes to the escalation of tensions in the region.

It was emphasized that the Azerbaijani side demands that Iran clarify the incident as soon as possible, provide official explanations, and take the necessary urgent measures to prevent the recurrence of such incidents in the future.
