Azerbaijan and Palestine discussed prospects for bilateral cooperation
On July 16, Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan (AR) Ali Asadov met with Prime Minister of the State of Palestine Mohammed Mustafa, who is in our country on an official visit.
As reported by the Cabinet of Ministers of the AR, during the meeting, the successful development of relations between Azerbaijan and Palestine, based on friendship and mutual respect, was noted. The parties emphasized the importance of effective cooperation and mutual support within the framework of international and regional organizations.
It was reaffirmed that Azerbaijan supports the settlement of the Palestinian issue based on the norms and principles of international law, including the relevant UN Security Council resolutions.
The Palestinian side expressed gratitude to Azerbaijan for its consistent political support of the State of Palestine and the Palestinian people, humanitarian aid, as well as initiatives implemented in the field of education and other areas.
During the meeting, the prospects for the development of mutually beneficial cooperation between Azerbaijan and Palestine in various spheres were discussed.
