Agil Abbas: Iran Has Made a Fatal Mistake

"Azerbaijan is the only country that has not shown any aggression towards Iran. During the Karabakh war, Iran demonstrated considerable aggression towards us, yet Azerbaijan did not respond to it."

This was stated to BAKU.WS by member of the Milli Majlis Committee on Defense, Security and Anti-Corruption Aghil Abbas.

The deputy emphasized that Iran made a serious mistake with this step:

"They have no friends left - they have become enemies to everyone. This will have severe consequences for Iran. Previously, a similar attack was carried out against Turkey, but it was later denied. The fall of a UAV on the territory of Nakhchivan will not go without consequences.

It must be taken into account that Azerbaijan has repeatedly assured Iran that it would not allow attacks on third countries from its territory. Nevertheless, today the known attack on Nakhchivan occurred from Iran's side. This incident indicates that Iranian leaders have lost their minds. Iran is in such a position that a regime change could occur in the country. This is an extremely alarming and dangerous event."
