A new stage in Azerbaijani-Uzbek relations

The main advantage of relations between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan is that they are built upon a shared history, culture, language, and spiritual values.

As reported by BAKU.WS, political commentator Rashad Bayramov stated this in an interview with Baku TV.

According to him, one of the main features of the current visit of the head of state to Uzbekistan is that strengthening the economic substance of the political alliance has become one of the priority areas.

"The rapid growth of trade turnover in recent years, mutual investment projects by Azerbaijani and Uzbek companies, cooperation in the automotive industry, and the holding of interregional forums show that ties are already yielding practical economic results.

The transport and transit sector attracts particular attention. The location of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan along routes connecting Central Asia, the Caspian basin, and broader Eurasia creates important logistics opportunities for both countries.

This visit demonstrates the deepening of the Azerbaijani-Uzbek alliance from political trust to economic and regional integration, the growing role of Azerbaijan in Central Asia, as well as the long-term nature of the strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan," noted R. Bayramov.
