A high-ranking official has been dismissed in Azerbaijan

First Deputy Chairman of the Board of Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) Bahruz Mammadov has been dismissed from his position.

As reported by Baku.ws, the corresponding order was signed on January 31, 2025.

Bahruz Mammadov had held this position since January 28, 2023. Prior to his appointment to ANAMA, he worked as Deputy Head of the Security, Defense and Mobilization Department of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
