Zakir Hasanov congratulated the personnel of the Azerbaijani army on Independence Day

Azerbaijan's Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov congratulated the personnel of the Azerbaijani army on the occasion of Independence Day on May 28.

In his congratulatory letter, the minister noted that today the units of the mighty Azerbaijani army resolutely stand guard over our Homeland, making their worthy contribution to the large-scale restoration and construction work being carried out within the framework of the Great Return program:

"Our army, remaining faithful to the Constitution of Azerbaijan, the Military Oath and regulations, will carry out the orders and instructions of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief at the highest level."

The minister also noted that as a result of the successful domestic and foreign policy pursued by the President of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev, today Azerbaijan has become the main guarantor of maintaining lasting peace and stability in the region.
