Vilayat Eyvazov met with the Minister of Internal Affairs of Belarus

A delegation headed by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Belarus, Lieutenant General of Police Ivan Kubrakov, arrived in Azerbaijan on an official visit.

This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan.

As part of the visit, the Belarusian delegation was received by the head of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Internal Affairs, Colonel General Vilayat Eyvazov.

During the meeting, V. Eyvazov, addressing issues of cooperation with Belarus in the field of law enforcement, emphasized that the focus of the parties is on countering key forms of transnational organized crime - drug trafficking, human trafficking, illegal migration, and cybercrime. He noted that achieving tangible results in these areas is possible only through close and coordinated joint work.

An exchange of views took place on a number of issues of mutual interest.

The Minister of Internal Affairs of Belarus, I. Kubrakov, expressed gratitude to his Azerbaijani colleague for the warm reception and hospitality.

At the end, the ministers signed a protocol on mutual activities.
