TİKA has begun the restoration project of the Mardakan Fortress

The Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) is implementing a project to restore the Mardakan fortress.
As BAKU.WS reports, this was announced by TİKA Chairman Abdullah Eren in an interview with Report.
He noted that on October 29 they visited the settlement of Mardakan:
"There is a large Mardakan fortress there, preserved from the times of the Shirvanshahs state. TİKA is implementing a project to restore this fortress. In total, the financial value of projects implemented by TİKA in Azerbaijan to date amounts to about $50 million."
