The uncle of the Azerbaijani student who died in Ukraine shared details of the incident
The body of Azerbaijani student Fatima Huseynova, who was killed as a result of an airstrike on the Ukrainian city of Kharkiv, has been sent to Azerbaijan.
As reported by Baku TV, F. Huseynova was born in Kharkiv and in 2020 enrolled in the medical university of her hometown.
After the start of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, she and her family temporarily resided in Germany. On June 26, the young woman came to Kharkiv to attend the graduation ceremony and receive her diploma.
Azer Huseynov, the uncle of the deceased, said that Fatima became a victim of the airstrike while she was on her way to a photoshoot. "She was a very well-mannered, kind, and bright girl. My heart is breaking with pain," the man shared.
The tragic death of the Azerbaijani student also shocked the Ukrainian public. The university from which Fatima graduated has created a special memorial corner in her memory.
It is noted that the body of F. Huseynova was sent to her homeland accompanied by her uncle Azer Huseynov and representatives of the Azerbaijani diaspora in Kharkiv. She will be buried in her father's homeland — in the village of Arabgubaly in the Kurdamir district.
