The subject "History of Azerbaijan" in 7th grade classes of schools with instruction in foreign languages will be taught in Azerbaijani starting from the 2026-2027 academic year.
As reported by BAKU.WS, this was announced by the Ministry of Science and Education in response to a request from Report.
In the following years, this approach is planned to be gradually extended to upper grades.
Previously, a similar practice had already been applied to 5th and 6th grade classes with instruction in foreign languages.
