The deadlines for additional enrollment of first graders have been announced in Azerbaijan

The procedure for selecting a school and teacher for the remaining available spots for children who, for valid reasons, were unable to enroll in the first grade of general education institutions for the 2026-2027 academic year in a timely manner, will begin on September 16 at 11:00.

This was reported by the State Agency for Preschool and General Education of Azerbaijan.

It is noted that the procedure will run until September 30 at 15:00.

Parents who submitted an application on the portal mektebeqebul.edu.az before the specified deadline will have the opportunity to contact the selected school with the required set of documents and complete the enrollment process of the child in the general education institution.

As of today, over 124 thousand children have been enrolled in the first grade.
