The arrested former head of the Executive Authority turned out to be a neighbor of Ramiz Mehdiyev

It has become known that the former head of the executive power of the Balaken district, Islam Rzayev, who was detained yesterday by the State Security Service (SSS), was a neighbor of the ex-head of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ramiz Mehdiyev.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to metbuat.az, I. Rzayev built a luxurious mansion in the village of Khungyutlu in the Goychay district. R. Mehdiyev's villa is located in the same village.

Note that information about R. Mehdiyev's villa in the Goychay district spread several years ago. According to media reports, the mansion is located on a plot of about 4 hectares and is surrounded by a 6-meter high fence. The territory also has a helicopter landing pad.

Recall that the arrested I. Rzayev is also a native of the Goychay district. In addition to the villa in the village of Khungyutlu, he owns a pomegranate garden with an area of 50 hectares.
