Starting from tomorrow, strengthening of wind is expected in Baku and the regions - WARNING

The National Hydrometeorological Service has declared yellow and orange weather danger levels due to windy weather expected on April 18 in Baku and on the Absheron Peninsula, and from April 18-20 in some regions.

As reported by BAKU.WS, southwesterly winds will prevail in Baku and on the Absheron Peninsula, while in Gazakh, Agstafa, Tovuz, Shamkir, Gedabey, Ganja, Goygol, Samukh, Agdam, Yevlakh, Tartar, Barda, Goychay, Neftchala, Salyan, Guba, Shabran, Siyazan, Gobustan, Sheki, Gabala, Oguz, Kalbajar, Jabrayil, Fuzuli, Lachin, and Zangilan — westerly winds will prevail, with speeds of 13.9–20.7 m/s, corresponding to the yellow weather danger level.

In Dashkasan, Goranboy, Naftalan, Mingachevir, Gusar, Khachmaz, Khizi, Lerik, and Yardimli, westerly winds will prevail, with speeds intensifying to 20.8–28.4 m/s, corresponding to the orange weather danger level.
