Registration of sub-bachelor degree holders for admission to universities of Azerbaijan has started

The State Examination Center (SEC) of Azerbaijan has announced the start of registration for sub-bachelor degree holders wishing to enroll in the country's higher education institutions.

According to the SEC, the registration process will last until August 2, 2026, and will take place on the official SEC website.

To participate in the competition, sub-bachelor degree holders need to create a "personal account" on the website ekabinet.dim.gov.az and fill out the "Sub-bachelor Electronic Application" form.

Data on the sub-bachelor's education is automatically retrieved from the state electronic database Tələbə-Məzun ("Student-Graduate").

If the information is incomplete, after saving the electronic application, a request is automatically sent to the secondary specialized educational institution from which the sub-bachelor graduated. After the responsible persons of the educational institution enter the necessary data into the system, an SMS notification will be sent to the number specified in the sub-bachelor's personal account. Educational institutions bear responsibility for the accuracy of the information provided.

It should be noted that if the phone number specified in the "personal account" does not belong to the sub-bachelor or the number has changed, the citizen must make corrections to the mobile phone number in the "Contact Information" section of the "personal account."

Sub-bachelor degree holders who have not confirmed their applications within the specified deadlines will not be admitted to the competition.

Participation in the competition is free of charge.

To confirm the electronic applications of male sub-bachelor degree holders under the age of 30 (born in 1996–2008, before April 30, 2008), the unified electronic information system of the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription of the Republic of Azerbaijan must contain information on their completion of compulsory active military service, entitlement to deferment from conscription, exemption from conscription, non-conscription, or temporary non-conscription for compulsory active military service. Electronic applications of sub-bachelor degree holders born after April 30, 2008, or who have reached the age of 30, are confirmed without a request to the unified electronic information system of the aforementioned state service.

Sub-bachelor degree holders wishing to enroll in higher education institutions without taking entrance exams will participate in the specialty selection (competition) simultaneously with applicants wishing to take tests and participate in the university competition this year (dates will be announced later).
