Rains are at the doorstep: forecasters named the date of an abrupt weather change

Precipitation is expected in some regions of Azerbaijan until the evening of May 18.

This is reported by BAKU.WS with reference to the National Hydrometeorological Service of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources.

In some areas, the precipitation will be intense; on the evening of May 16, thunderstorms and hail are possible in the eastern regions, while snow is expected in high-mountain areas.

Due to the precipitation, a rise in river water levels is not ruled out, as well as short-term mudflows along some mountain rivers.
