New director of Tovuz State Social and Economic College appointed

By order of the Chairman of the State Agency for Science and Higher Education Ulker Sattarova, Nigar Safhanova has been appointed as the director of the Tovuz State Social and Economic College.

This was reported by BAKU.WS with reference to the agency.

The newly appointed director was introduced to the staff by Samir Hamidov, head of the department for work with higher and secondary specialized educational institutions of the state agency.

N. Safhanova graduated from Baku State University with a bachelor's degree in "Azerbaijani language and literature," and also completed her master's degree at ADA University with a specialization in "organization and management of education."

From 2018 to 2022, she worked as a teacher at the secondary school in Uchbulag village of the Goygol district, and from 2022 to 2024, she served as the director of the same educational institution. From 2024 until her recent appointment, she worked as the deputy director for academic affairs at the Goychay State College of Management and Technology.
