As of the morning of March 18, precipitation persists in some regions of the country. It is snowing in mountainous areas.

This is reported by BAKU.WS with reference to the National Hydrometeorological Service of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources.

The snow cover depth on Shahdag is 7 cm, in Griz - 1 cm.

The amount of precipitation in Shabran was 8 mm, Gabala - 7 mm, Zagatala and Saribash (Gakh) - 6 mm, Gobustan and Balakan - 4 mm, Astara and Khaltan - 2 mm, Guba, Gusar, Ismayilli, Shamakhi, Sheki, Oguz, Shabran, Yevlakh, Goychay, Kurdamir, Sabirabad, Naftalan, Yardimli, Bilasuvar, Lankaran, as well as Baku and the Absheron Peninsula - 1 mm.

On March 17, a northwesterly wind was blowing, with maximum speeds intensifying to 18 m/s in Naftalan, 17 m/s in Kalbajar, and 15 m/s in Baku and on the Absheron Peninsula.

Fog is observed in Ganja, Naftalan, Shamkir, Saribash (Gakh), Zagatala, Sheki, Shamakhi, Griz, and Lerik, with visibility reduced to 500 m.
