In Baku and regions of Azerbaijan, strong wind is expected - WARNING

A yellow and orange warning has been issued for Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, as well as most regions, in connection with the windy weather conditions expected on February 3-4.

As BAKU.WS reports, the information was disseminated by the National Hydrometeorological Service.

In Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, in Khizi, Guba, Gusar, Shabran, Khachmaz, Siyazan, Mingachevir, Gazakh, Agstafa, Tovuz, Shamkir, Samukh, Ganja, Naftalan, Goranboy, Kalbajar, Gobustan, Dashkasan, the speed of the northwestern wind will increase to 20.8-28.4 m/s, which corresponds to the orange level of weather hazard.

In other regions of the country, according to the yellow warning, northwestern winds with gusts up to 13.9-20.7 m/s will prevail.
