In a number of regions of Azerbaijan, heavy rains with thunderstorms are occurring, and snow has fallen in the mountains
As of 3:00 PM on May 6, rain with thunderstorms is being observed in some regions of Azerbaijan. In certain areas, the precipitation is intense in nature. In the highland areas of the Dashkasan district and on Shahdag, snow is falling.
This was reported by the National Hydrometeorological Service of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources.
Rain is falling in Dashkasan, Gadabay, Goranboy, Goygol, Ganja, Naftalan, Shamkir, Agstafa, Tovuz, Balakan, Gakh (Saribash), Zagatala, Sheki, Oguz, Gabala, Barda, Aghdam, Tartar, Ismayilli, Altyagaj, Guba, Gusar, Mingachevir, Yevlakh, Goychay, and Kurdamir.
Fog is being observed in Goygol, Zagatala, Balakan, Sheki, Gakh (Saribash), Gabala, Shamakhi, Altyagaj, Gusar, Goychay, and Lerik, with visibility reduced to 200 meters.
