How many people were hired to work in schools in Baku in the past academic year?

In the 2025/26 academic year, 402 people were appointed to various positions in general education institutions subordinate to the Baku City Education Department.

It is noted that during the 2025/26 academic year, based on the results of relevant examinations and job interviews, the following were appointed to general education institutions: 101 psychologists, 92 laboratory assistants, 18 library managers, 46 librarians, 41 pre-conscription training supervisors, and 37 deputy directors for administrative affairs. As part of optimization and for other reasons, 9 directors, 11 deputy directors for educational and instructional work, and 4 organizers of extracurricular and out-of-school educational activities with children were appointed to their positions. In addition, 43 new directors were appointed during the academic year.
