Forecasters warned of strengthening winds in Baku and the regions starting from tomorrow

On July 16 in Baku and on the Absheron Peninsula, and in certain regions of the country from July 16 to 18, wind strengthening is expected, in connection with which a yellow warning has been issued.

This was reported by BAKU.WS with reference to the National Hydrometeorology Service of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources.

According to the forecast, a northwesterly wind will prevail in Baku and on the Absheron Peninsula, while in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Kalbajar, Lachin, Zangilan, Jabrayil, Fuzuli, Guba, Gusar, Shabran, Siyazan, Khizi, Khachmaz, Saatli, Sabirabad, Shirvan, Hajigabul, Neftchala, Salyan, Bilasuvar, Jalilabad, Lerik, Yardimli, Balakan, Gakh, Zagatala, Sheki, Gazakh, Agstafa, Shamkir, Tovuz, Gadabay, Dashkasan, Goranboy, Naftalan, Samukh, Ganja, and Mingachevir, an easterly wind will blow. Maximum gusts will reach 13.9–20.7 m/s.
