Changes in college admissions in Azerbaijan: one specialty has been excluded
In the plan for student admission to secondary specialized educational institutions (colleges) for the 2026-2027 academic year, approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan, no planned places have been allocated for the specialty "Physical Education Teaching" based on general (9-year) and complete (11-year) secondary education.
BAKU.WS was informed about this by the State Examination Center (SEC).
Starting from this year, student admission to secondary specialized educational institutions (colleges) for the specialty "Physical Education Teaching" will no longer be carried out.
"We inform applicants that in accordance with the admission plan for the current academic year, the following commissions will also not be functioning:
6 401 - Physical Education Teaching (based on 11-year education);
152 - Physical Education Teaching (based on 9-year education).
For more detailed information about aptitude exams, it is recommended to regularly follow the publications and website of the SEC," the statement said.
