The Central Bank has maintained the interest rate at 7%

The Board of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) made a decision to maintain the discount rate at 7%.

This was reported by Report with reference to the CBA.

According to the information, the lower threshold of the interest rate corridor remains at 6%, and the upper threshold at 8%.

"When making the decision, actual and expected inflation in accordance with the target range (4±2%), current conditions in the global economy and financial markets, domestic macroeconomic trends, as well as the specifics of monetary policy decisions transmission to the real sector were taken into account," the CBA stated.

Information about the next decision on the parameters of the interest rate corridor will be announced on December 10.
