The budget of the Mandatory Health Insurance Fund may decrease by 11%

Expenditures of the Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund (CMI) budget in 2026 are projected at 2 billion 621.5 million manats (10.9% less than in 2025).
As BAKU.WS reports with reference to Report, this is reflected in the draft budget package for 2026.
According to the document, 1 billion 976 million manats of expenses are planned to be covered by the Fund's revenues (-23.2%), and 645.5 million manats - by the unused balance of the Fund's funds at the end of the current year (+74.5%).
Recall that in 2026, 900 million manats or 2.2% of Azerbaijan's state budget expenditures will go to contributions to the Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund, which is 36.5% less than the approved forecast for 2025.
