SOCAR conducted the first Forum on Law and Compliance

The first Law and Compliance Forum was held at the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR).

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to the company, the Forum, which was attended by law and compliance specialists from the SOCAR Group working in various countries, as well as representatives of leading international law firms, was aimed at exchanging knowledge and experience, as well as discussing new legal risks.

Within the framework of the Forum, panel discussions were held on the topics of "International Arbitration Disputes", "Corruption and the Global Energy Sector", and "Legal Complexities in the Business Environment".

Participants emphasized the importance of strengthening team spirit and cooperation between the SOCAR Group's foreign enterprises to effectively respond to the challenges of a rapidly changing global environment.

It was also noted that SOCAR in its activities is guided by legal norms, ethical principles, transparency, and high standards of corporate governance. The company plans to hold such forums annually.
