SOCAR and Uniper signed a cooperation program for 2025-2026

The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) and German company Uniper signed a cooperation program covering 2025-2026.

The document was signed as part of the 9th meeting of the Coordination Committee between the two companies.
SOCAR Vice Presidents Elshad Nasirov and Ziba Mustafayeva, Uniper SE Commercial Director Carsten Poppinga, and German Ambassador to Azerbaijan Ralf Horlemann spoke at the meeting.
During the speeches, it was noted that the long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation between SOCAR and Uniper continues successfully, and the joint projects being implemented are important from the perspective of European energy security. The work on further expanding cooperation between the companies in various directions was particularly emphasized.
This was followed by presentations on SOCAR-Uniper cooperation, the current situation on the Southern Gas Corridor, European energy policy and new trends, energy transition, sustainable development and decarbonization, and an exchange of views on other topics. The meeting also noted the importance of expanding cooperation in the areas of communications and corporate social responsibility.
