SOCAR and ExxonMobil discussed long-term partnership ties in the energy sector

As part of the Baku Energy Week, the President of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) Rovshan Najaf met with Vice President of ExxonMobil Corporation John Ardill.

During the meeting, the successful development of the long-term partnership between SOCAR and ExxonMobil in the energy sector was noted.

The parties emphasized that the start of production of the first free natural gas at the "Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli" block of fields became an important historic event.

During the conversation, the work being carried out within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the companies last year, as well as other issues of mutual interest, were also discussed.
