In Azerbaijan, the customs value of goods will be declared in manats

Azerbaijan proposes to introduce mandatory declaration of the customs value of goods in the national currency - manats.

As Report informs, the corresponding provision is reflected in the draft law "On Amendments to the Customs Code."

The document has been included in the agenda of the next plenary session of the Milli Majlis, scheduled for May 1.

According to the amendments, the possibility of proportional release of security in cases of partial payment of customs debt is also envisaged.
