Fixed tariffs for electricity and natural gas have been established in Azerbaijan.
As reported by BAKU.WS, the corresponding decision was made by the Tariff (price) Council.
The information notes that according to the laws "On Electric Power Industry" and the new law "On Gas Supply," which comes into force on January 1, 2026, a fixed tariff has been established for the balanced distribution of fixed costs among consumers regardless of consumption level.
The Tariff (price) Council has set a monthly fixed electricity tariff of 1 manat for the population and other consumer categories using a 1-phase power supply scheme, and 3 manats for other consumer categories using a 3-phase power supply scheme.
The monthly fixed tariff for natural gas has been set at 1 manat for the population and other consumer categories connected via household gas installations, and 3 manats for other consumer categories connected via industrial gas installations.
