Azerbaijan's trade turnover with CIS countries increased by 26%
Azerbaijan's trade turnover with CIS countries in January-July 2025 amounted to $4.6 billion, which is 25.9% more compared to the same period last year.
According to the State Customs Committee, exports increased by 10.6% to $1.04 billion, imports - by 31.2% to $3.57 billion.
The share of CIS countries in Azerbaijan's total exports was 6.8%, in imports - 26%.
Trade turnover with Russia reached $3.07 billion, increasing by 19.3%. Exports grew by 9.9% to $721.2 million, imports - by 22.5% to $2.35 billion.
Trade turnover with Belarus amounted to $239.1 million. Exports increased by 77.4% to $45.1 million, while imports decreased by 12.9% to $194 million.
Trade turnover with Kazakhstan reached $517.2 million, increasing 3.8 times. Exports amounted to $60 million (an increase of 53.3%), imports - $457.2 million (an increase of 4.7 times).
Trade turnover decreased with Turkmenistan by 41% and amounted to $154 million. Exports fell by 29.5% to $37.2 million, imports - by 44% to $116.8 million.
Trade turnover with Uzbekistan amounted to $268.9 million, increasing 1.2 times. Exports grew almost twofold to $35.4 million, imports - 2.3 times to $233.5 million.
