The supply of Azerbaijani natural gas to Syria is one of the clear examples of the role that Turkey has taken in mitigating the energy crisis in this country.

As reported by BAKU.WS, this is stated in the reports of the Haber Global TV channel dedicated to the supply of Azerbaijani blue fuel to Syria through the territory of Turkey.

It is noted that the inflow of natural gas from Azerbaijan strengthens hopes for a better future among all ethnic groups living in Syria.

According to the information, at the first stage, gas will be converted into electricity in Aleppo, after which electricity supply will begin to cities such as Tadmor, Damascus, and Hama. In the near future, 5,000 households will be provided with electricity.

It is also emphasized that Azerbaijani gas will contribute to population growth in the region and will positively affect the return of Syrians living in Turkey and European countries to their homeland.

"Energy cooperation, which is vital for Syria, will have a positive impact on production, education, and daily life in the country," the reports note.
