Azerbaijan changes the rules for issuing "Green Card" for foreign vehicles

From October 2025, the procedure for issuing insurance contracts at border crossing points will be suspended for owners of vehicles registered outside Azerbaijan who do not have an international "Green Card" auto insurance certificate.

As Report informs with reference to the Ministry of Transport of Belarus, according to information from the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Minsk, it will be possible to obtain a "Green Card" only through a pre-concluded contract with insurance companies in Azerbaijan via the official online platform www.tpl.az.
