Alat FEZ received new lands for permanent use - DECREE

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed an order on additional measures to ensure the activities of the Alat Free Economic Zone (FEZ).

As reported by BAKU.WS, the document states:

"Guided by paragraph 32 of Article 109 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, I hereby decree:

1. Based on Part 3 of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On the establishment of the Alat Free Economic Zone and the organization of its activities" dated May 22, 2020, No. 1032, to transfer to the authorized body of the Alat Free Economic Zone, with the right of one-time, gratuitous and permanent use, a part of the land plot of 1453.09 hectares located in the administrative territory of the Alat settlement of the Garadagh district of the city of Baku, designated as the territory of the Alat Free Economic Zone, belonging to state property and indicated in the land management plan prepared by the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan and attached to this order.

2. The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the authorized body of the Alat FEZ shall resolve the issues arising from this order."
