ADY increased passenger transportation by 16% in 5 months

"Azerbaijan Railways" transported 4 million 513 thousand 747 passengers on domestic routes and the Absheron circular railway in January-May 2026.

According to ADY, this is 16.3% more compared to the same period last year.

About 4.3 million passengers were transported on the Absheron circular railway (+16%), and about 240 thousand passengers on intercity routes (+21%).

The number of foreign tourists exceeded 11 thousand people, which is 6% more than last year.
