A new World Bank advisor on Azerbaijan has been appointed

Head of the Department of Monetary Policy at the Central Bank, Anar Pashajanov, has been appointed as Advisor to the Executive Director of the World Bank for Azerbaijan.

As Report informs, in the near future he will represent Azerbaijan both at the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

It should be noted that the main part of A. Pashajanov's professional career is associated with the Central Bank of Azerbaijan. Since 2013, he has held various positions in the Monetary Policy Department of the CBA, and in recent years has served as head of the department.
