Ramiz Rovshan: It was impossible to break such a person

"He lived his life as a true man. The last time we spoke was on the day he was leaving for treatment in Turkey."

This was stated in a comment to BAKU.WS by People's Poet Ramiz Rovshan, who attended the farewell ceremony for People's Artist Rasim Balayev.

According to him, Rasim Balayev was the kind of master that no one had the power to break:

"Rasim Balayev was not just a brilliant master - he was a true Azerbaijani man. It was impossible to break such a person. I thought he simply had a sore leg. We even joked a little about it, because I also have problems with my leg. Rasim Balayev was a person with an amazing sense of humor. May he rest in peace," he added.

As a reminder, the chairman of the Union of Cinematographers of Azerbaijan, Rasim Balayev, passed away the day before. He died at the Memorial clinic in Istanbul, Turkey.

The actor had been undergoing treatment for a long time due to serious health problems. He suffered from lung cancer and diabetes.
