Arif Babayev awarded the Heydar Aliyev Prize

People's Artist of Azerbaijan, khanende Arif Babayev awarded the Heydar Aliyev Prize.

Report was informed about this by the Ministry of Culture.

The award was presented to the People's Artist by Farah Aliyeva, head of the Department for Humanitarian Policy, Diaspora Affairs, Multiculturalism and Religion of the Administration of the President of Azerbaijan, at his home.

She also conveyed greetings and congratulations from President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva to the mugham master.

Arif Babayev expressed deep gratitude to the head of state for the honorary award.

It should be noted that by the decree of President Ilham Aliyev dated May 8, 2025, the outstanding mugham master, teacher, People's Artist Arif Babayev was awarded the Heydar Aliyev Prize for special merits in the development of Azerbaijani culture.
