Recently, dating pages and marriage platforms have become widespread on social networks.

Interestingly, posting advertisements on these platforms is paid for men, while for women the service is completely free. The cost of posting an advertisement varies from 3 to 10 manats.

How appropriate is it to meet and get married through such advertisements? Can such marriages be strong and healthy?

Baku TV found out the opinions of the capital's residents on this issue.

One of the residents noted: "On social networks, you can only meet someone, but marriage is different. At least, you need to communicate with a person to get to know them. It's impossible to get to know people over the phone."

Another resident expressed: "If a person is decent, then you can get married. But, in my opinion, it's difficult to truly get to know people through social networks."
