Trump stated that the US could strike Iran's nuclear facilities
US President Donald Trump declared Washington's readiness to destroy Iran's nuclear facilities if necessary and take decisive measures against Tehran.
"It's very simple. Iran should not possess nuclear weapons. They should return to the negotiating table with the US as soon as possible, as they are on the verge of creating it. We will not allow them to have nuclear weapons. If necessary - we will take harsh steps," Trump emphasized.
Later, responding to a journalist's question about whether these measures include strikes on Iran's nuclear infrastructure, the US president answered affirmatively: "Of course."
