The US and Israel have developed a plan for new strikes on Iran after the elections
The US and Israel have developed a plan for possible new strikes against Iran, which could begin after the midterm elections for the American Congress on November 3.
This was reported by The New York Times, citing sources.
Among the presumed targets are nuclear facilities, energy infrastructure, as well as arsenals of Iranian missiles and drones. At the same time, strikes on oil refineries may be excluded to avoid provoking a rise in fuel prices.
According to the publication, the operation could last about three days. However, a final decision on carrying it out has not yet been made, and the likelihood of new strikes before the elections is assessed as low.
