Gakhira Guseynova has been appointed to a high-ranking position
Gahira Huseynova has been appointed as the person responsible for media affairs at the Plenipotentiary Representation of the President of Azerbaijan in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Oxu.Az, she previously worked as a regional correspondent of Public Television (İTV) for Nakhchivan.
She also previously held the position of press secretary of the national leader Heydar Aliyev.
G. Huseynova is an honored journalist of Azerbaijan and the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, and holds a PhD in Political Sciences.
In addition, by a decree of the head of state, she was awarded the "Taraggi" medal for her contributions to the development of the national press of Azerbaijan.
