Named the richest city on Earth in 2025
The capital of Japan, Tokyo, topped the rating of the 300 richest cities in the world.

According to the publication, the GDP of the megalopolis reached $2.55 trillion. New York came in second with $2.49 trillion. Los Angeles took the third position with a GDP of $1.62 trillion. Following are London ($1.47 trillion), Seoul ($1.42 trillion), and Paris ($1.39 trillion). The study emphasizes that the top ten cities account for about one-third of the global GDP.
