President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko in an interview with Time stated that he does not see his younger son Nikolai in big politics.
"No, he is not a successor. I knew you would ask about this. No, no. Ask him, you might offend him greatly with this," said the Belarusian leader.
He noted that Nikolai is "somewhat oppositional to a degree," although he supports his actions and "understands, comprehends everything."
In the same interview, Lukashenko said that he does not plan to run for president of the country again.
