Khabib Nurmagomedov's bank account has been blocked again in Russia

The Federal Tax Service of Russia has decided to block the bank account of legendary mixed martial arts fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov again. The 36-year-old former UFC lightweight champion and member of the organization's Hall of Fame is once again at the center of a financial investigation.
This is reported by the Telegram channel "Mash on Sport".
According to available information, the reason for the blocking was the athlete's failure to submit his income declaration for the current year 2024 in a timely manner.
It is worth recalling that earlier this year, court bailiffs seized Nurmagomedov's property worth 79 million rubles (approximately $921,350) due to a debt to the Federal Tax Service amounting to 302 million rubles (about $3.5 million). Presumably, the list of seized property included the family home in Dagestan and an impressive car collection, including:
- Ferrari California T worth $300,000;
- Mercedes-Benz AMG GT S for $161,000;
- Mercedes-Benz S-Class priced at $122,000;
- BMW 7 Series worth $101,000;
- Toyota Land Cruiser for $85,000;
- Toyota Tacoma priced at $44,000.
In addition to personal property, the accounts of Eagle FC promotion associated with Nurmagomedov, the athlete's charitable foundation, as well as his personal bank accounts were blocked. However, a week after the seizure was imposed, Khabib fully paid off the tax debt of 302 million rubles, after which the seizure was lifted.
Currently, Khabib Nurmagomedov is in Russia and is conducting training camps with his team in the Dagestani village of Sildi.
