Is the US preparing for a new strike on Iran?
The United States has begun a major redeployment of military forces to the Middle East region. Dozens of air refueling aircraft, as well as heavy military transport aircraft C-5 and C-17 Globemaster are reportedly being moved. The aircraft are heading from American air bases both on US territory and from the United Kingdom.
As reported by BAKU.WS, according to Israeli media and OSINT sources, since last Saturday at least 14 C-17 Globemaster transport aircraft and two heavily armed AC-130J Ghostrider aircraft have landed at three Royal Air Force bases in Suffolk and Gloucestershire counties.
It is noted that the Globemaster could have been carrying at least five MH-60M Black Hawk helicopters and one MH-47G Chinook, which are used in special operations.
The UK Ministry of Defense declined to comment. There have been no official statements from the Pentagon either.
Analysts view this redeployment as possible preparation for a new strike against Iran. According to them, similar actions were already observed in June last year on the eve of attacks on nuclear facilities of the Islamic Republic.
