An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.4 occurred in the Kosh-Agach district of the Altai Republic (Russia).

This was reported by the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the region.

It is noted that the epicenter of the earthquake was located 12 km southeast of the village of Kyzyl-Tash. Underground tremors were also felt in 10 settlements of the republic.

Preliminarily, there are no casualties or injured.
