A strong earthquake has struck yet another country

A 5.5 magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of Mexico.

This was reported by the national seismological center.

The tremors were recorded on Wednesday at 06:28 local time (16:28 Baku time - ed.).

The epicenter was located 145 km southwest of the city of Huixtla in the state of Chiapas. The earthquake's focal depth was 10 km.

No reports of possible casualties or damage have been received so far.
