What symptom indicates that you need to closely monitor blood pressure?

Doctors warn: one of the symptoms that may signal problems with arterial pressure is frequent headache, especially in the back of the head, occurring in the morning immediately after waking up.
According to specialists, such pain may be a sign of hypertension - persistent high blood pressure. Particularly concerning are dull, pressing pains accompanied by dizziness, nausea, ringing in the ears, or seeing "floaters" before the eyes.
It's important to understand that hypertension in its early stages may be asymptomatic. This is why regular blood pressure monitoring is especially important for people over 40, as well as for those who lead a sedentary lifestyle, are overweight, or experience chronic stress.
Doctors advise measuring blood pressure at least once a week, even if nothing is bothering you. If stable readings above normal (higher than 140/90 mm Hg) are detected, it is necessary to consult a general practitioner and possibly start medication treatment.
