In February and March, the doctor notes, you can gradually reduce the caloric content of your diet by cutting down on simple carbohydrates and increasing protein intake. Maximum physical activity is recommended during this period. It's also acceptable to implement intermittent fasting, for example using the 16/8 scheme, if there are no contraindications.

The doctor emphasizes the importance of maintaining normal protein intake, sufficient water consumption, and replacing usual desserts with healthier alternatives - baked apples with cinnamon, cottage cheese casseroles, or fruit jellies.

In April-May, according to Smirnova, comes the stage of "polishing" the figure and nutrition while simultaneously maintaining the achieved result. During this time, it's recommended to increase the amount of vegetables and greens in the diet, as well as adjust the training plan.

According to the doctor, this phased approach allows you to approach spring without exhaustion after strict diets, preserve energy, and make the final stage of weight loss more natural and effective.
