TABIB has been transferred to the subordination of the Ministry of Health

President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on a number of measures to improve governance in the healthcare sector.

As reported by President.az, the respective decree provides for the transfer of the public legal entity "Association for Management of Medical Territorial Units" (TƏBİB) to the subordination of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

It is established that the rights and obligations, as well as the property of this public legal entity, are transferred to the public legal entity "Association for Management of Medical Territorial Units" under the subordination of the Ministry of Health. The authorized fund of TƏBİB is formed from the property of this public legal entity.

Until the day of state registration of TƏBİB in the manner established by the law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On State Registration of Legal Entities and the State Register," the public legal entity continues its activities. The powers of its supervisory board during this period are exercised by a commission established by the Ministry of Health.

The day-to-day management of TƏBİB's activities is carried out by a board consisting of a chairman and four deputy chairmen. The chairman and deputy chairmen are appointed to and dismissed from their positions by the Ministry of Health.
